Hey Family How are you all doing. I am doing really well. Theres never a dull moment in the mission. I got another companion this week. His name is Elder Potter. He is from Tempe. He is so stinky funny and musically talented. He is a fun kid. On Tuesday we go a call from the assistants and they came and took my companion. They didnt really tell us what was going on so we were all in some confusion. I spent the day in Vincente Noble and spent the night there also. The next day we still didnt know what was going on but about 2 in the afternoon the assistants came again and had Elder Potter with them and told me he was my new companion. So we are pretty much completely lost in the area. But we will work with what we have.
On Friday we went to Azua for a conference of the south part of the mission. The mission is divided into 2 different parts. The capital and then the rest. They call it the south. So all the missionaries of the south went to azua. Thats where Elder Johnson took the picture. My comp is sitting next to me and then Elder Muse next to him and then his companion Elder Goodmansen.
I saw Elder Espinola at the conference. It was nice to see him. He told me that all of our converts are active in SY, even the one that was inactive for a little bit. His comp told me that he reads what I wrote in his journal every single day haha so I guess he is missing me too. He said that he got marens letter finally and that he already wrote her back. He is a good kid. It was fun talking to him.
It has been raining a lot more lately. It rained a ton yesterday. So much that a pool formed in the house above us and the only way to drain was right through our electric box. Idk how we didnt die but our kitchen is a lake right now. Then we lost power a couple of hours later. We climbed up stairs to find our wire laying in the puddle. It completely was fried. Elder Potter fixed it using the rubber execise bands they gave us in the mtc. Haha he only got shocked a couple of times.
The church is still struggling here. Only five people came to church yesterday. I got to give another talk. It is definently hard here. Everyone has heard of the missionaries a lot and doesnt what to share with us.
Questions from mom-
That is all for now. I love you lots. Thats for all your love and support.
Do you stay in Tamayo for p-day? Yes because the president made another rule this week that we cant do activities on p day anymore. YIKES We are going t odie.
Are there grocery stores, bank, etc there or do you have to go into another city again? Tamayo has about everything we need. So we dont have to g oto another city
Are you able to buy more food there? Fruits? Veggies? Yes and there is a street market every Thursday that has every kinda of fruit and veggies that youd ever want.
How about the out to eat places? You said you were hoping they had some fast food joints there? Well?.........tampoco. There arent much to eat here E ither. I am learning to cook a little more.
Have you eaten anything yummy yet? We got a pet snapping turtle and we were going to eat it. His name was franklin but he ran away last night.
How does the cooking work? Do you just take turns or what? For the most part elder potter cooks because he knows how and likes it but i always help him so i can learn so from him.
Is it deserty or greener there? Def greener and not as hot-
It sounds like it's the rainy season there. Are you enjoying that? Only the last two days it has rained but yes i am enjoying it but it makes a muddy mess.
Since you are only a "group" do the missionaries run the meetings? Yes we do everything Are there just a bunch of inactives or are there just no priesthood holders? There are millions of inactives that we have to work with to try to bring them back
How long has the area been opened? A little over a yr ago they re oponed it. Mathias says it was closed when he was there? Ya it was closed for a while. There are a million different reasons for why it closed.
Oh yeah? How many things did you accidently leave at SY? Just thinking of all the stuff Kenny left here or you left all over creation! Ha! NONE I BROUGHT EVERYTHING THANK YOU VERY MUCH ;)
Speaking of kenny, I think for now I think that I am going to go to the U of A. There is still a ton of time before I need to make a final decisión but if you could make sure that everything is still clear for there and keato kenny and I can live in the shack. I miss my mommy too much to move away again ;) haha
Love you lots and thanks for all you do

Seth is in the very middle about the third row from the back in Elder Johnson's picture that Seth speaks about at the Multi--zone Conference in Azua. His smile and the tone of the letter seem great to us even in hard times.

Jack Sparrow and the Haunted House
Oh boy oh boy HAPPY BDAY MOMMY!!!
I dont know if I will have enough time to respond to every email from the family because the internet is taking long than i used to take in the bathroom when I didnt want to help with the dishes. We all know that that is a really long time!!!
Where to start. Mondays was goodbyes in Sabana Yegua. The Cabrals were really sad to see me go. Migdalia started to cry and that was really hard. Oh boy oh boy I miss SY sooo much. I learned a good lesson. Enjoy what you have while you have it.. I thought that was so ready to leave from there and know I would do anything to go back. But monday night we had to stay the night in Azua with the Zone leaders and we got up really early the next morning to catch the bus to barahona then letter we took a taxi to Tamayo.
From there I met basically all the members in the group. It is smaller than a branch and they call it a group. THere were 8 people in church yesterday. 3 relief society members and 5 kids. My companion likes the jack sparrow theory that rules are more a guidelines, suggestions so this tranfsfer might be a little interesting. We only had a lessons taught this week. I am def going to miss Elder Espinola.
Our house is soo ghetto haha i tried to put pictures up but the computer is sooo slow that I couldnt write and put them up at the same time so you will have to wait for next week. It is full of coch roaches and mice poop. The other day I awas about to dry myself with amy towel after I showered and i had a random thought that maybe i should shake out my towel, after i did, a huge cockroach flew out of it! Haha it is ddef a different house from the old one. IT has yellow and pink walls and a shandleleer that looks like something out of a haunted house... Thats exactly what it loooks like is a haunted house. I live with Elder Muse and Elder Goodmansen. Elder Muse and I are really tight and elder Goodmensen is fresh out in the field. HE is a army boy so he is definently keeping things tighty! ;)
I got a packet from the WEbsters. Thanks a bunch! I love them sooo much. I aalso got a letter from maren from over 3 and a half months ago with the pictures of mikayla. I also got a inviation to kylees wedding!
On thursday we had Zone conference. I saw elder allred so that was really fun. He is soo tight. We had to hitch hike all the way to neyba,. It is forever away! THAt was def a fun experience! Last night we had to come in early at 6 becasue everyone and there dogs were drinkin becasue itt was election night. This monring we had to clean the house until 4. THe president wants us to clean the house once a transfer for a whir a whole pday.
Not much else is new. Sorry the speellling is soo bad. I wreite and than about 2 minutes later the words appear.
THats about all from here. Tonight we have a FHE in the church (the house next store) so we have to go round some people up for that. I love you all so much and sorry that this letter isnt very good the computer doesnt work vvery well! so its kinda haerd...

Tomorrow......Tamayo
Hey yall! It was sooo great to talk to you all yesterday! I had absolutely a blast! You all are way to fun and silly! it was lots of fun to hear Mikalya and to talk about bodily functions like normal! I was definently on a high for a while after. As you already know I am getting transferred to Tamayo. My new companions name is Elder Torres. I dont know anything about him but tomorrow we will find out!
Before I forget! Happy anniversary fud and dud!
This week has been really good. We are trying really hard to find new people to teach. Right now we have two baptisms for this week and we are just waiting to find the papers for a family so that they can get married.
The adventure of the week was rounding up cows. We have done it twice now. there is this really old lady that has a bunch of cows so we go and round them up for her. it is nice to change things up a little and it really helps her out. i feel like a cowboy when i help her but we still need horses before we are real cowboys.
I forgot to tell you last night. Elder Espinola agrees with you when you all say that i asked a lot of questions. you all always say when i was little that i asked a lot of questions and i guess i still do ask a lot. he says that he hopes my next companion knows a lot of science so he can answer all my questions.
The story of the week for the websters would have to be the dead lady. We were asked to give a lady a blessing and when we went to her house she was had died 10 minutes before hand. Talk about awkward. All the family was mourning. Jokingly when we passed the house Elder Espinola say haha shes already dead (we didnt know where she lived) and we when asked someone where she lived they pointed to the house with the people mourning and said she died ten minutes earlier.
Well not too much to write because we talked a bunch last night. I cant believe its already been 6 months! And in 7 more we will get to talk again! Since I forgot last night, Happy late mothers day mommy! Love you all lots and I am so grateful for your love and support! Well talk next week from Tamayo!

Kids do the darndest things!
saluditos a todo!
hey yall I hope all is going well! This week was another good one! We didnt have to much success and had some people fail on us but hey it happens and we will keep going forward! B4 I forget you have to telll bro brown I have dotten his letters and love them and he is totally siilly and that I have a letter waiting for him I just have to go to the post office! I should be going their next monday... I think...
I am super excited to talk to my family this week! they havent said anything about it and elder espinola said that were on our own to do it and I think I am just calling when we are done for the day. 9 our time! 6 your time! I am super excited. If I havent called by 915 that means that I cant figure it out so just call the number I gave you!
Not much happened this week. WE had one baptism. It was the daughter of a different baptism we had. She wasnt prepared when we taught the family but later had a desire and we taught her. It was really cool to see her progression. We only are missing one more brother to complete the family. We also found a different family. The family quezada. They are soo awesome. THe dad is sooo crazy and is always leading the lessons. We taught them the law of chastiy( like everyone else they arent married) and after he asked us it that meant that they had to stop having relationships until that got married becasue he would do it because he would do anything to complete with God and we then taught him about agency and that choice was between him and his wife haha it was soo funny. Youd have to know him to think it was funny. They are a great family. Right now the wife has lots of doubts and we have left her a lot of promises. I like them a lot because they really give me their attention and try to understand what i am saying.
Man it feels like I am always saying the same thing over and over but still havent washed clothes much. THe dumb lady that lives down stairs still hasnt come back so we have had to carry water up and down the stairs to shower and wash. I decided I like bucket showers though vbecause they arent so cold. Every morning when I shower I have to scream when I first go under the shower head to distract my thoughts from the cold water! I do a little dance and run in place to keep my heart beating. I dont understand how the water is so cold if the temperature is soo hot.
I decided to read the ensign you sent me this week. It was SOO AMAZING. Basically every talk talked about keeping hope and working through trials and enjoying them. Idk it was amazing. Everyone should read it. It definently was very inspiring!
We were teaching a lesson this week and a lady was playing with her baby and in the middle of the lesson he just started peeing! Talk about power! we all had to jump out of our chairs to avoid the power sprayer! It was intense. Afterwards he gave a little giggle and went on to play in the dirt! He knew exactly what we was doing!
Of course I know Olivia Brown! She played bball and we had student council together. She is was tight. I think I knew she got baptized.
Saturday we took a little journy that turned into a life time! Wow we have an investigator that lives in las barreras. We were told it was only 30 mins away...8 hitch hike rides, 3 vans down a bumpy rocky road, and 8 hrs later we returned home! IT was sooo far! It was a little town with nothing in it. IT was against the mountains. I could see they beach from there off in the distance! The water looked sooo clear! Someday.... but it was a lot of fun. Definently something different.
Other than that not much knew here. IT was a good week! Flew by... I cant believe its already been 6 months! Wow. Spanish is still a struggle but I feel like I am learning. I still have sooo far to go but sometimes I feel like I am part of the convo. Other times I cant understand anything. The Branch pres said yesterday that we need to have faith in the Lord and not use our own knowledge. For me that applies to spanish. I cant even imagine kmnowing spanish but if I trust in the Lord it will be possible!
I love you all sooo much and cant wait to talk this Sunday! Know that i love you and keep the faith! SOrry there arent many good stories for this week! I should find out if I am getting transfered during the call this sunday!
love you
elder wilson
